Performance Day!

YOU GAME?

So glad that the performance went quite smoothly and everybody was fighting hard for their stunts. In other words, the performance was quite a success! However bears, let's not stop here and start to be complacent. Let's work extra harder together, progress together, have fun together and fly higher together!!!

Training Camp 2011

As you can see from the title, this entry is all about the training camp which took place in the early october this year. The 4 days 3 nights training camp was no doubt, mentally and physically exhausting but it was a challenging, fruitful training camp. There were times when we felt like everything's crashing down, when everybody was on the verge of giving up, but im glad all us bears managed to walk through it together, leaving the school on the last day, bringing along that sense of achievement back home. We are so thankful for the special people who came down to guide and help us, and the most enjoyable exchange workshop with the big brothers and sisters...Legacy! Grizzlers, let's not disappoint those who believed in us and work harder together till our better becomes good, till our good becomes the best! We will trade sweat for strength, and doubt for belief!

Here's a sumary of everything:

On the very last day we were told to perform. We were given only 10 mins to wash up. All of us was really nervous and of course at the same time, feeling excited and guess what happened in the end?

THE COACHES SURPRISED US BY TELLING US WE DON'T HAVE TO PERFORM AND ARE ALL FREE FOR BBQ PARTY AT AARON'S CRIB

Check out the happy faces:)

So in the end, we all headed to aarons crib for a bbq and swim! Had an awesome time witnessing how the bears, coaches and everybody else got thrown into the pool. Had so much fun playing stunts in the pool too. We ended training camp officially then saying our goodbyes as we head home back to our beds:)

Saturday 22 October 2011

Just like all the previous posts, this is another post of encouragement to the team. All the bears are probably excited and nervous over the first ever performance on this coming monday. This is our first step to show others what we have got. We might be small, and we definitely do not have a lot of experience but we will keep our spirits high! Bears, remember what the coaches told us? "There is no fear in fierce" Let's all do our best and not disappoint those who believed in us. Jia you!!!!!!

Words of Encouragement to the team!

hmmm.. so what exactly took me so long in writting to you Grizzlers Blogspot?
Not the lazyness, not on the purpose to procrastinate either.
Maybe, I've been thinking. Thinking of what this team really means to me.
-A cheerleader team.

I started seeing stunts on TV when I was little, the known show called 'Bring It On'.
Being awe by their performances I wonder where are they here in Singapore, my country.
Until I need to enter Secondary School to realise that "Hey, there are such thing in reality."
I wanted to enter a particular school for the sake of their availabilty in their Chearleading CCA but didn't.
Until I saw you, recruting members after a year waiting in search of your booth.
-I don't want to miss this chance.

Have you been wanting to give up midway of your journey to success?
-I had, multiples times.

Why are you still staying in the team then?
-.... I've always believe in holding on to someone until someone gives me up.

There are soo many ups & downs my dear bearmates, all of us know that.
Despite my sorrows, my disheartens & the lack of love, I saw a sunshine.
Yes, a sunshine in us, in our heart and faces of all members and our coaches.
And yes, our downs demolished by the perception of grabbing our happiness.
-Let's smile together

What really constitutes being a REAL cheerleader? -Jaime
-To me, it teaches us the ultimate values of life.
To love, believe and trust yourself and others.
To be together as one, a friendship, family and a team
And despite mamy more to mention, this I must say:
To persevere, endure and shine for where you belong.

PS: " I love it cause its so challenging, both mentally and physically, and best of all, it makes you grow as a person, and an athlete." -Mummy J.
